Technical Support

Your software purchase comes with three (3) months of free technical support.  If you need special help, we can securely download your data files over the internet or access your network through a remote connection and review specific questions related to your unique accounting records.  Technical Support is available from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Eastern Standard Time.

 

Onsite Training

Comet’s solution training helps to maximize your return on investment in our products.  We provide users with hands-on training in their own familiar environment.  Users gain critical experience with all aspects of managing and using their new software.

 

Online Internet Training

Internet web-based training allows your users to work one-on-one with our training personnel right from your own office.  Eliminate the hassle of having to leave your office and more importantly, eliminate travel expenses.

 

Classroom Training

We offer user training in a classroom setting for individuals or groups at our offices in suburban Atlanta.  This is a convenient and cost-effective way to get training for new clients or for any existing clients that have new hires or new users of the software.

 

Software Maintenance

After your initial 90 days of technical support have expired, an optional Software Maintenance Contract extends your telephone support and software updates for six months at a time.  This service is optional, but most clients find it a wise investment.  If you choose to sign up for the extended maintenance agreement, we will keep you updated with the latest software enhancements, tax tables, unlimited telephone assistance, remote internet support and updates to the documentation. Semi-annual software maintenance includes the following benefits:

Unlimited Telephone Technical Support - Telephone support provides prompt answers to questions regarding the use of Comet software products.  Phone support is provided Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Eastern Standard Time.

Software Updates - Periodically, updates are provided for the software and documentation.  These updates will include enhancements to the programs that you purchased, including updates to accommodate tax form changes, such as tax tables, W-2s and 1099s.  These updates do not include new software applications that were not purchased under your original purchase agreement.

Quarterly Newsletters - We offer a quarterly newsletter via email to those clients that wish to receive them.  The newsletters include notices of software and tax reporting changes, as they are available.  They also contain information on the latest software changes and enhancements.  We'll include some helpful hints related to the operation of the software, as well as our latest company news.
