Comet2007 v6.2.0 Software Release

Buford, Georgia - December 1, 2006 - Comet Construction Software, a leading supplier of job cost and accounting software solutions for the construction industry, today announces the latest release v6.2.0 of it's flagship software, Comet2007.

The Comet2007 v6.2.0 release incorporates a number of new features that will enhance the product's power and flexibility.  Some of the many new features include:

• The limit on the number of jobs allowed within the system has been increased to up to 100,000 jobs.

• New reporting features have been added that allow the user to drill-down on a hyperlink within a report to display supporting details for that report's information.

• The Estimate Import option has been enhanced for greater flexibility, allowing for additional file types and importing Committed Costs.

• Enhanced Period 13 Processing provides greater flexibility for the user when it's time for the fiscal year-end.

• The default financial statements have been reformatted and enhanced to improve readability and functionality.

• New cost-plus billing features have been added to the A/R Module allowing the user to tie their invoicing directly to job costs for cost-plus jobs.  These new options will provide for much better communication between our users and their clients.

• Several new reports have been added to the Accounts Payable, Job Cost and Warranty Management modules.

These are just a few of the many new features that have been added since our last release.  As always, our commitment to our client's experience with their Comet software is our top priority. 

All Comet clients that are current on their software maintenance contracts at the time of the software release will get the latest enhancements at no additional charge.
