New Software Release v6.1.7

Buford, Georgia - July 1, 2006 - Comet Construction Software, a leading supplier of job cost and accounting software solutions for the construction industry, today announces the latest release of it's flagship product Comet2005.

The new software incorporates a number of new enhancements that will increase the power and performance of the product.  A few of the software enhancements included with this release are:

Plymart ExpressBooks Invoicing Interface

Comet users that also purchase building materials from Plymart will have the ability to view, code and download their invoices directly from the Plymart online invoicing system.  For additional information, see www.plymart.com.

Loan Draw Schedules

Users have the ability to setup and maintain loan draw schedules for individual jobs.  The software provides the ability to track loan draw history of up to 10 draws for each job.  Users can also generate construction loan draw request forms, detailed sworn statements with user-defined legal text and construction lien waivers.

Help System

The help system within the product has been upgraded and completely updated.  The new system allows users to do robust searches for help and also store frequently accessed help pages as favorites for easy retrieval at a later time. 

Version 6.1.7 of the software also includes a number of additional minor enhancements that were completed at the request of our existing clients.  All clients that are active with software maintenance will be automatically receiving the update at no additional charge.
